Digiteyes was formed by Nick Repin and Jack Swart as a result  of recognising that "there must be a better way". The laborious and error prone job of writing EDLs by hand meant that countless hours were wasted and thousands  of dollars lost in expensive Online edit suites. The combination of some lateral  thinking, along with some very late nights gave birth to Shotlister, the worlds first computerised EDL management software. Shotlister was an immediate success  and was hailed around the world, not only as a time saver, but for rock solid  EDLs that gave editors and producers a confidence not known before. Shotlister  is still in use world wide and continues to impress as well as save time and  money.
Digiteyes went on to produce a range of innovative products including  frED, a diminutive hardware box that rewrote the rules for auto compiling EDLs,  as well as dAVE, Australia's only non linear edit system.
